• Served on the Faculty and Design Team of Perkins School of Youth Ministry for 12+ years
• Served on Faculty for Certification in Youth Ministry through GBHEM at Perkins School of Theology for 4+ years teaching: Bible, Theology, Adolescent World, and Youth Ministry Overview
• Served on Faculty of Perkins School of Volunteer Youth Ministry for 5 years
• Served as the South Central Jurisdiction’s Youth Ministry Coordinator 4 years
• Served on the SCJ Jurisdictional Youth Team (JYT) for 6 years
• Served on the National Steering Committee (at GBOD) for the United Methodist Youth Organization (UMYO formerly NYMO) and helped to develop the legislation for General Conference to form the new Division on Ministries with Young People
• Served on the start-up Steering Committee for The Youth Worker Movement and currently serve on the Board of Directors for this organization of 2,700+ members consisting of Youth Workers in United Methodist Churches
• Serve on the Board of Trustees for The Foundation for Evangelism in Lake Junaluska, NC as Vice-Chair for the Development Committee
• Served as an adult member of The North Texas Conference CCYM (Conference Council on Youth Ministry) 12 years, serving the last 5 as CCYM Coordinator
• Served as Chair of the North Texas Conference Youth Division for 4 years
• Served on the Design Team for the SCJ Spiritual Life Rally (SpiLiRa) in 2001 & 2005 a Youth event for 800+ Youth
• Served as SCJ keynote speaker at Youth ’03 with 2,500 jurisdictional participants
• Workshop leader Youth ’03 and Youth ‘07
• Served on Youth ’03 “Think Tank” planning and idea committee
• Workshop leader at United Methodist Youth Ministry Forum and Connection various years
• Preacher at Conference and District Youth events various years
• Workshop leader at Conference Training events nationally
• Senior Counselor at North Texas Conference Senior High Camp for 16 years, directing the camp for 6 of those years
• Senior Counselor at NTX Conference Junior High Camps, currently directing JH2 and directing other camps for 8 years

• Served as Dstrict Youth Coordinator in 2 NTX Conference Districts
