Department of Family Studies, Texas Woman’s University, Denton, TX
Instruction in Master’s level education with a high priority for online instruction in “Communication in Marriage and Family.” Also, instructed a face-to-face section of “Issues and Trend in Family Studies.”
2002 – present Associate Pastor with Youth, University Student and Young Adults
First United Methodist Church, Denton, TX
Responsible for education, program and spiritual formation of youth in and outside the church. Authored curriculum for small groups and large group programs for three program areas. Supervised departmental staff. Created University Ministries program based on international mission and lay leadership. Staff liaison for Mission Team. Served as co-convener of the Needs Assessment Task Force. Created Young Adult Ministry program with focus on marriage and family ministry. Taught several small groups through Adult Education and Spiritual Life Team. Provided general pastoral leadership for weddings, funerals and hospital visitation.
